I’m Heading To Colorado For The Weekend!

I’m heading to Colorado this weekend! Absolutely can’t wait!

What I usually do when I take a little celebrity vacation like this is rent a Limo and try to get out and see some of the countryside!

This year I’ve found a new Colorado car hire company that looks good – they rent nice Chevy Suburbans, and as long as I can get one with a tinted window option,  I’m sold!

Tints are important when you’re a celebrity like me – sometimes my fans can be just so.. overwhelming. And when I head to Colorado it’s because i need a little time out!

I like the Chevy Suburban to – A good vehicle on road or off.

A Job In The Film Industry – Production Assistant Jobs

Now my friend (who doesn’t want her name to be mentioned) has been hassling me about helping her find a job in the industry. She’s not sure exactly sure what sort of film job she wants but she likes film production. Now I of course am more inclined towards the starring roles you know me, I’m a celebrity at heart.

Anyway, I was digging around and I found this excellent site that lists lots of different film jobs that you can get, and browsing around I found this page on Production Assistant Jobs! Which would suit her to a T because she’s just starting out and needs to get some experience first.

Now I think my friend will be very happy – this is an excellent resource for anyone wanting more information on film jobs and I’m just really glad that someone with the knowledge took the time to sit down and write about this stuff!

Isn’t the interweb a wonderful place? Awww shucks.

Heath Ledger Wins Oscar

Heath Ledger was one of my favorite actors and I found out today that he has been nominated for ‘Best Actor’ posthumously at the Academy Awards almost one year to the day since he passed away.

In my mind, and in my heart he has already won and no one else could, or should take this award from him.

Rest In Peace Heath. We love you.

I Love America’s Next Top Model

I don’t know about you but I love America’s Next Top Model.

I can’t wait for season 12! I heard a little rumor that Nigel Barker will be back judging (but you didn’t hear that from me!) and that there is a lot of drama in the coming season

Tyra is one of my favorite people, and she is a really good sort. Sometimes we have girly chats for hours.

Can’t wait for the show!

Hacked!

This is tragic, one of my best friends websites just got HACKED! and she’s a celebrity too! how could this happen? how could they do this to her? how could they…

?

There is only one answer, and although I am not technical, as most of you know by now, I am going to  learn to hack! And I will hack those hackers back to where they came from!

So I started with my best friend Google, and I started digging.

Now the more I thought about this the more I started to think “hold on… I don’t know about hacking…. maybe its wrong?… maybe it’s even… illegal!?!…”

So I started looking for legal hacking, and what do you know? Google always gives you what you want! low and behold I find a page on learning to be a certified ethical hacker!

I Love Knee High Boots

As many of you know I’m a huge fan of high boots, Especially the ones that reach the knee, or even the thigh. Knee high boots are quite possibly the sexiest fashion accessory a woman can can get her hands on, and her calves inside. There are so many hotboot styles to choose from but I like the shiny variety and the backlaced beauties I purchased recently have knocked my socks off. Literally.

Now I recommend all woman should have at least one pair of knee high boots in their arsenal. You don’t necessarily need to pay full price either, a quick Google revealed plenty of sources for cheap knee high boots, So go girls go!

Sarah Palin Glasses

Now I don’t know about you but since the pre-election excitement I’ve been wanting myself a pair of Sarah Palin glasses.

And now I’ve found out where you can get a pair! Frame-less beauties is what they are.

Now not saying I’m a Republican in any way – I voted Barrack and I’m soooo happy he’s in power. The only thing that disappoints me about the man is that he is already married…  Wish I could have some….

So Democrats all the way! But it’s still alright to admire Sarah Palin’s glasses. OK!

I Love Pink Laptops

I found my dream laptop today! If you haven’t noticed I love everything pink and while I was surfing the web today I found a site specializing in pink laptops!

Now after browsing around a bit I decided the Asus Eee PC S101 is the one for me. You know Perezed is a girly girl after all.

Now the S101 is a little cutie! It sports an Atom Processor and a little 10 inch screen – just perfect for portability. I’m alwways on the move in my line of business!

Only problem is I’m going to have to head over to Japan to get it… Sigh the life of a celebrity is hard… I’ll be reporting back on my Japanese trip soon.

RoboCop – The Best Movie Ever Made

So I’m sitting here at home, alone on Saturday night, just filing my nails and watching TV – the life of a celebrity isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be!

Anyway, RoboCop just came on TV and suddenly I’m really happy again.

RoboCop is such a good movie. I think good movies have to start with a good script and RoboCop has that, the story is engaging throughout while still being pretty offbeat.

All great movies have to have some great one-liners and RoboCop has those too! Does anyone remember “I’ll buy that for a dollar?”

I think RoboCop is the best movie ever made!

Excerpt From “The War Game” – Director Peter Watkins, 1965

I was browsing the net today in between checking my makeup and I stumbled on a few really interesting blog posts including one about the BBC releasing a script for what would happen in the event of a nuclear attack on Britain.

This also led me to watching some excerpts from a 1965 BBC Docu-drama about how a nuclear strike would play out if it did happen… The film was called “The War Game”, made in 1965 by the BBC and directed by Peter Watkins.

I’ve added a snippet here for you. This film was effectively banned for almost 20 years after its production due to the British government deeming it to disturbing for general consumption. And it is very real and disturbing but I feel we should see this type of thing from time to time to remind ourselves of  the consequences of nuclear disaster, be it willful use of weapons, or simply an accident such as Chernobyl which left an abandoned city.

I know it is disturbing stuff, and not particularly uplifting at New Year, but I feel it’s good to remind ourselves of how much work we still have to do as a frighteningly large number of countries continue to arm themselves with nuclear weapons. There is still too mcuh conflict in the world and we must work hard for peace people. Please add this to all of your New Years resolutions.
